Sergio Selvera

Sergio Selvera, Managing Partner

Sergio Selvera is a Houston based entertainment attorney representing clients in music, film, television, sports, digital media, live events, and media. Licensed in Texas, he earned his B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin, his J.D. from Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law, and also studied International Sports Law at St. John’s University School of Law in New York.

Sergio has extensive experience in entertainment transactions and intellectual property, including negotiating record deals, film and television agreements, media talent agreements, brand sponsorships, influencer contracts, and live event bids such as the Super Bowl. He regularly counsels clients at major festivals and conferences, including SXSW.

In addition to his legal work, Sergio is a producer and most recently served as an Executive Producer on the A&E docuseries. The Chicano Squad. He has also produced documentaries, albums, and tours, giving him a unique perspective as both lawyer and creative professional.

Deeply committed to community service, Sergio has served on the Board of Directors for the City of Houston’s East Downtown Redevelopment Authority and is currently Vice Chair of the Houston Arts Alliance. He is also a Google Next Gen Policy Fellow.

Sergio combines industry knowledge, creativity, and legal expertise to help artists, entrepreneurs, and media professionals protect their work and succeed in the fast-changing entertainment industry.
